You know that feeling you get when you're standing in a crossroad. Imagening the life you want. That dream. That dream you thought where everything. That life you wanted. Just to have that dream crushed. Or you just woke up one day and realized you where living in a complete fantasy. That dream, that fantasy. Melted together and created some kind of false reality. I had a vision of myself, a vision of the people around me. And it was never real.
That's my point. Life is not a dream, not a fantasy. Life just is. You can even call it magical. Cause one minut you think your whole world is coming down. Just to wake up and see that you didn't miss a thing. The sun keeps rising, the planet keeps spinning and life goes on. And damn we should feel lucky about that.
5 steps to get more positivity into your life
1. Think happy thoughts
May seem lika a cliché, but it actually is pretty accurate. Your thoughts creates your reality, you are what you think you are. You act on your thoughts, and the energy you are sending out is the one you get back. Simple.
2. More Music
And I am not talking about the deppresing kind. You wanna feel happier? Then music can really be helpfull. The "feel-good" kind of music.
3. Meditation
I would have putted this one as number 1. But since it's not for everyone (even if I would say it is). The previous steps is easier and takes less to no time at all. This may take 5-10 minutes. Maybe that sounds long in our "fast food" sociaty. But you got five minutes. So just sit down, put on some relaxing music in the background. Take 10 deep breaths and just let all the thoughts run around in your head. Just simply notive the thoughts, without giving them much attention. But let them be there. Watch them. And you will see what happends.
4. Loving Friends
People can either give you energy or they can take it. Some people, are big energy thiefs without even knowing it. But you sure as hell know who those people are in your life. Life is simple to short to give time to people that doesn't give you anything back. Love is the most importent thing. And you should be able to feel love in all of your relationships. Those are the real ones! Hold them close.
5. Kindness
You gotta give a little to get a little. To spread the love is only gonna give you more love. What you give is what you get. Kindness is so underrated nowdays, people think that being kind is weakness. But they are actually the strong ones, it takes curage to give even if you know you may not get anyting back.
